Front bumpers on 96-98 civic coupes and 99-00 coupes
Are they directly replaceable?
I'm not sure about the chassis codes for these cars since i'm new to civics, but I've noticed 96-98 and 99-00 the civic coupes slightly changed, different tail lights, head lights, and bumpers... could i directly bolt on a 99-00 front bumper to a 96-98 coupe??
Thanks in advance!

This has been covered billions of times.
You can technically bolt on a 99-00 bumper to a 96-98, but it won't fit properly.
What changed in 99:
Upper grill became wider
Hood altered to match upper grill
Lower vents added
Lower grill altered in size I believe
Headlight shape altered
Fenders altered to match headlight shape.
It will be painfully obvious that something is wrong if you simply bolt a 99-00 bumper onto a 96-98. You need everything infront of the doors to convert the front end to 99-00. Hood, bumper, fenders, and headlights.
Tail lights will directly bolt in with no modifications needed.
