MY car wont start im getting no spark and when i turn the key on acc i dont hear the fuel pump its the the ignitor unit replaced it checked all fuses not the coil in distributor the battery is charged im out of ideas if you have any that would be appreciated thanks

The fuel pump isn't supposed to run in the I(acc) possition. Does it run for 2 seconds when turned to the II(on) position? Do you have any codes? Does the CEL come on for 2 seconds and then go out?

 

when i turn the key as far as it can go i never even hear the fuel pump go on and there is no spark could it be my main relay caz im not getting constant power to my radio either

 

The main relay could be the cause of the fuel problem but not the no spark problem. What year and model are you working on? When you turn the ignition switch to the on possition, does the CEL come on for two seconds and go out?

 

what do you mean by cel i dont know if it comes on its a 89 crx si and i was taking the dash off and sparked a ground and it wouldnt start after that im getting a main relay on tuesday but i think i might just bring it to honda and have them run a diagonis on it

 

CEL = Check Engine Light. Sparks usually result in blown fuses.

 

the check engine light comes on and stays on when the key is turned as far as it can go

 

Are any codes stored? If not, check your fuses again.

 

no codes look at the ecu and its no blinking ill check them one more time
