This car is boosted? Don't assume that we are supposed to know what car you are talking about from any details in your sig. Furnish all relevant details.

On a holiday weekend? Get serious. If someone has an answer they'll post. Did you even try checking the VSS? And why is there a 2-step on a stock B20?

I dont know why it has 2 step. I just got it 3 days ago and **** has been breaking daily. I pulled the vss and looked for any visible damaage( broken plastic teeth, metal shavings) nothing appears to be broken. Inspected the plug for damage corrosion etc, No apparent signs there. Now since i got it its been jumping and FINALLY shot out today and wont move after a few jumps when i hit a bump or pothole. But it doesnt move.

No you need the speed sensor that goes on that tranny..find a speed sensor and swap it out, that sounds like the problem.

Changed the speed sensor with a spare b series one i had laying around. Plus a new pigtail from my old b series setup. still no working gauge or revving past 4k??

Ive looked everywhere checked all grounds looming for bare spots. Nothing stands out. If your speedo doesnt work will the ecu still read the signal from the sensor?

No, my sensor went out and my speedo stopped workin..my cel came on, no vtec, and my chip had 2-step sset at 5k and i couldnt go passed that. I changed my sensor from another
b16 tranny and it was fine.

its electical interference. i had the same problem with my lsvtec. check your dizzy make sure the cap and rotar are in good shape. if its gots 2 step im assuming its an msd setup with the external coil....they then to losen off and destroy the cap. also check your wires. one of my wires were faulty and would arc off the intake. found that out the hard way. if you still have the problem look at your 2step module....it should have 2 rubber modules( one for launch one for rev limit)
pull it out and itll rev up nice

also if its a b16 tranny it uses a speed cable. the cable runs through a tube which can get clogged or corroded after time and your speedo wont work.
