Redline help!

Well i was in first and trying to speed up and without paying attention redlined. i didnt see how far exactly it went but the car immediated slowed down under the redline automaticly now could i have done any damage to my car? is there any instant sideaffects i can check? the car seem to be runing just perfect but im still worried??

Unless you some how made it to like 9k i doubt it. unless your low on oil or something. but once shouldnt hurt nothing did it hit the limiter

but if i didnt any damage wouldnt i know immediatly? and i think it did i never experienced the limiter b4 but it makes the car slow down on its own right? cuz when ur blower there no slowing down rite?

Man I could not understand that last post at all you should be fine. If you hurt anything you should have known by now. Something would have broke.

just the limiter, you'll be fine. just don't over rev on a down shift.

i cant imagine hitting the rev limiter during a down shift.
brings shivers to my spine.

your car well be fine if you still have your stock ecu and havent change the redline on it. cuz with the stock one that why it did it to u so it would stop from your car from being damage from over rpm. and since it wasnt from a down shift your car will be fine
