We are extremly happy with the results of this past weekend!!!

A couple month back we parted out the car & sold some of the old set up. We had planned to build a Road race car, but due to the fact that we are Drag junkies :LOL: we decided to install a 100% F22C Stock Engine to push it & see how much power the KP Stage 1 turbo kit can make. After doing some turbo & tuning testing we finalize the project with some REALLY good results.

Here is the OLD SET UP:

-GE Sleeved F20C block w/ O-ring
-CP Pistons w/ Upgraded wrist pins
-Pauter Rods
-KP Race head
-FBM H11 head studs
-KP Stage 3.5 turbo kit w/ Precision HP-6265 Billet ball bearing T4 .81 A/R turbo
-KP 8.8 Diff kit
-KP/Frana dog box gear box
-CC Twin disc clutch kit
-AEM V2 ems w/ Boost by gear
-And a couple other goodies...

Highest Horsepower with Old set up 835whp & 500'sh tq
E85 Ethanol
Best E/T: 9.9 @ 142mph (755whp @ 28psi)
Weight: 3,050 lbs w/ driver
Tires: M/T 255/50/16 Drag Radials on AP1 wheels


NEW SET UP:

-100% Stock Block
-100% Stock Head w/ SuperTech Dual springs & Ti-Retainers kit
-100% Stock Cams
-FBM H11 head studs
-Kings Performance Stage 1 turbo kit (T3 Log Manifold) w/ Precision HP-6266 Billet ball bearing T3 .82 A/R :p
-HKS 3" exhaust
-Same KP fuel system
-AEM V2 ems w/ Boost by gear
-V160 transmission
-FBM V160/S2k adapter kit
-KP 8.8 diff kit
-Clutch Master Twin ceramic clutch kit
-Clutch Master flow control valve

Horsepower with NEW set up 722whp & 535tq @ 32psi
E85 Ethanol
Weight: 3,095 lbs w/ driver
Tires: M/T 275/50/15 Drag Radials on Weld 15x9 wheels :p

4th pass letting off on 4th, because of problems: :crycry:



If you look @ the 60 foot, 1/8 E/T & MPH on the previous passes, we were definitely on a 9.6-9.7 pass @ 147-148mph :argh:






The only thing we change in between passes was the 2step & Rev Limiter.

Awesome work guys! I've always been a fan of this S200. Loving how it's not a hardtop.

 

Awesome. And people say that much hp is not possible with a log. My s (rip) made 550 at 21 psi on pump gas with a log. Cant wait to see what you guys do next.

It was a T4 log, big difference from using a T3.

 

will the stage 3 kit take you to the moon?

 

im sure it'll at least put you in orbit

Also been a fan of this S since Ive seen a dyno tune of this @ CFT years back when I was getting a tune on one of my previous cars there. Excellent work on a stock F22

 

with the FBM V160 kit, it still uses the clutch/flywheel from the F20 correct?

 

I think its a custom twin disk

You have to use a Custom Clutch Masters Twin disc kit.

Yes, but we are a little behind in our shop car because we have been working really hard on 2 customer S2000 that will be much faster than mine Both cars will be 8 second street cars.
