i bent my z6 valve so i got a y8 head from a friend....my ? is,, is it 9 z6 studs and 1 y8 or the other way around....and also do i put the z6 cam gear on the y8 cam?

 

u can swap out the valves from the y8 head they are the same. this could make this simple and ur computer would still be the same tune. A y8 head would raise compression. if u do put the y8 head on put the z6 cam gear on it and time it the same as a z6. To put the Y8 head on the Z6 block, you need 9 head studs/bolts from the Z6 and 1 from the Y8. That 1 stud goes by the vtec solenoid
