How is VTEC working? Wire isnt connected, VTEC still works
1995 Integra RS
B16A2 (EM1)
LS transmission
My friend has a 95 Integra that we just finished a turbo set up on. Im trying to fix the VTEC wiring.
The 1 wire connector is being sent to the ECU, but a wire from the oil pressure (which has a 2 pin connector) is being grounded on the solenoid itself. The other wire is still hanging, and VTEC still works.
Im trying to fix that wiring, but is there a pin out for it? Ive done the VTEC wiring to a 99 Dx hatch, but Im not sure on an OBD1 set up.
Also, where does the thick hose from the EVAP canister go? Its not connected and I cant find the plug. I think its causing a vacuum leak because the car is idling at 3000RPM.
Thanks.
Edit: Now VTEC isnt working, but I want to wire it correctly.

Does OBD1 rear for knock sensor? I couldnt find a 2 pin connector behind the block for the knock sensor. I was under the assumption that it didnt.
Its getting tuned tomorrow so they can disable it, but I figured might as well wire it if we're there.
So since VTEC oil pressure was most likely disabled, thats why VTEC still worked? The one wire connector was ran to ECU, then the 2 wire VTEC oil pressure was grounded to the body, both of them lol. The one coming from the ECU and one on the clip
