i have a b18c motor and all the wires are hook up except for knock.
my vtec not working. could that be the problem. i also got the wire wet because my radiator hose busted. the vtec pressure and solenoid plugs got wet also. could that be a problem.
any sugesstions will be helpful

 

Hook up a wire tester (or a simple bulb) to the green and yellow wire between the ecu and the vtec solenoid and see if you're getting juice.

If I recall correctly with the knock sensor wire not hooked up you are going to be in limp mode and have NO VTEC, So HOOK that wire up.
