s4c gearbox
From what I have seen, all the S4C B16 transmissions should come with the same 10 bolt open diff, 4.40 ratio FD and same shaft gear ratios as well. I have seen some with a viscous 14 bolt LSD but I'm not sure if they came that way or if the LSD was installed later.
If you look up the OEM part numbers for the countershaft and ring gear on the 99-00 Civic Si S4C they will show that the parts are only available in the 4.40 ratio. The Integra LS 4.266 FD will fit right in the S4C creating the myth that this was an OEM option.
I am always open to learn something new. We can confirm this by looking up the OEM part numbers on the Honda parts database. Do you know the year make and model of the car that has the Euro S4C that came OEM with a 4.266 FD?

We don't see too many Euro transmissions in the USA but I did some research and this is what I was able to find:

The OEM number for the 4.266 countershaft is 23221-P21-E02. This part was used in the 1994 Euro Civic SIR-T and 1998 Civic Vti transmissions along with the close ratio b16 shaft gears but I can't find anything referencing the sticker ID on this trans.
To my knowledge the JDM S4C was first used in 1996 and the Y21/S21 was from 1993-1994. In the USA the 1994-1997 B16 DelSol has the Y21 and S21 transmissions and the 99-00 Civic Si uses the S4C, all with 4.40 ratio FD.
