Default Need a little wiring help. Swapping a 95 LS B18B1 into a 2000 civic ex..

So I'm swapping a 95 Integra LS engine and trans into my 2000 civic Ex. The engine is in and most of the harness is all plugged in. I'm running into a few things that I'm not sure about. I read all the swap threads under the FAQ's. I'm not sure where to wire in the EVAP Purge solenoid. Or, at least I think that's what it is. I took a picture of it so I could show what I'm talking about. The plug thats on it is not plugged into anything.

Any other help or tips would be appreciated. If there are any threads on this specific swap then I'd like to see it.

What ECU will you be using? I don't think you can use the OBD1 solenoid with the OBD2 ECU. Also that plug looks like the one for the power steering pressure switch because the OBD2 harness won't have a round style EVAP purge plug because the OBD2 style is square.

I was just going to use the OBD1 ecu and run a jumper harness. The plug that is in it is just one that I found that would fit. I have a few harnesses that I have used for other swaps and things so I just found one that would work.

Can I use the one that was on the civic originally? Or, can I just bypass this all together?

you can leave it out, obd1 doesn't look for a purge solenoid.

Well cool. I'll try it. I am still waiting on a few things before I am done but I'll post up here what I find.

Look at the .pdf attachment.
Hope that helps.
I think "kyden" and "HondaPartsHero" are right, you can leave it unplug as long as all the vacuum hoses are routed correctly, you should be good.

Thanks for asking. I've been waiting on a few other parts before I can try to fire it up. I will post my results as soon as I know.
