what ecu are you planning to use?
If you convert to OBD1 and use an OBD1 LS ecu (PR4/P74/P75) you don't need to worry about wiring in a 2nd 02.
So if you convert to OBD1, you don't need to worry about the 2nd 02 at all. Just unplug it and leave it dormant.
If you plan to use an OBD2 LS ecu, then you will need to utilize the 2nd 02 plug, extend the wires so that you can plug the 2nd 02 to your cat.
