Crome 1.6.3 with freelog?
how can i get freelog to communicate with the latest version of Crome as a rom?
Here's my setup: obd1 p08 crome tuned ecu with moates hulog. all i want to do is check rpm and fuel ratios with free log. i am new to datalogging and have been unable to find any info on my setup. i bought the computer already chipped, so i dont have crome pro or anything.

im having the same issue:
p06 chipped with vtec added, but in crome every time i want to add datalog and RTP it says "not allowed with this bin or something like that and im not getting any data from the Hulog in freelog.

You cannot datalog because you do not have Crome Pro or Crome Gold. Crome Free only allows you to change basic map settings and thats it. Either invest in paying for Crome Pro or simply have someone who has access to Crome Pro and have them setup where you can datalog.
I was having the same issue and this is what I did:
opened my p28 .bin
goto File>Export tables then save them wherever you want.
then goto File>new p30
File>import tables.
then you can add dataloging and RTP
also remember to remove vtec if you are not running it and also remove checksum or you will default to limp (guilty) not pretty...
let me know how that works for you.

AFAIK You cannot datalog within Crome Free.... However, you can datalog using freelog and then make the required changes in Crome Free.
As for getting Freelog to work.... best of luck with the bugs and having it work consistently.
I used Freelog for a weekend once when I was having issues with my Pro license... I will never suggest Freelog as a reliable tuning tool after that. Much better to save up the pennies and pay the money to buy something reputable. Tuning your engine is one of, if not, the most important parts of a build. Seems as though everyone wants to go as cheap as possible.
All I have to say is if you decide to co cheap as F$#k with your tuning software/hardware. You should expect to spend more time online asking questions and trying to figure out issues. Than you will spend time tuning.
