d16 turbo setup ?
would this be a good reliable setup for a DD
dsm tdo4 turbo(anyone know the factory wastgate psi)
ebay intcooler
dsm bov
custom manifold(modified d16 Mani)
edelbrock piggyback computer or emanage
larger injectors
walbro fuel pump
Im on a budget and currently rebuilding my d, so unless I get mine tuned free, I can't spend money on tuning some p28
any opinions or advice would save a d series from another rebuild LOL

Sound like a decent setup. You pretty much have no choice but to go OBD1 and chip your ecu to run crome and get it tune that way. Other than that you might get away with some piggyback management. I'll recommand you to get a chip obd1 ecu and get it tune the right way. Getting it tune is something you don't want to cheap out on.

That sounds like a decent setup. I would recommend a few things though. First of all, ditch the Emanage/Edelbrock tuning mess and get a chipped P28 with Crome. It'll be a lot easier to tune and a lot cheaper too. Secondly, i would recommend an HF manifold and adapter plate. That is probably the stock manifold you're alluding to though...

Re: (Schister66)
chipped p28 running chrome is what I want of course, but how much would it cost to tune it by a tuner, I thought it would be expensive, yeah that's what Im going to do weld on an adapter plate to my stock Mani

For a complete tune that'll run great on the street, it'll probably be in the $400 range. You could probably get away with a little less if you dont care so much about part throttle drivability. Personally, i think a good tune is well worth the money. I want my car to drive like stock all the time regardless of throttle position or engine speed.

with a setup like that i would agree with schister and dont skimp on the tune. its going to be the most beneficial part and it will more than likely help you make more power than any other part of the setup. with a good basemap that was close enough to drive it i had my car tuned for 330. and that included ALOT of other things. i would definatly suggest saving up for it before going boost.
