Default maxspeed coilovers

I need some help, I got a set of maxspeed coilovers for my 90 hatch but when I put them on I was very disapointed cause I have lowered them all the way down and I can still get 3 fingers in between the tires and fender all the way round. what have I done wrong? Does anyone else have this brand of coilvers?

You probably didn't cut the bump stops on the shocks. The shocks are probably resting on the bump stop. You should cut it and then the drop is going to be noticable. HTH

thats because its new....i had the same problem before the springs settled in....trust me, i had mine (tom motorsport) set to the lowest setting and i was unhappy and i said **** it and left it like that. so a couple weeks later...a friend of mine pointed out that my car is SLIZAMMED and i was like ' what the f...!! it settled in and the car was way too low to drive around (i didn't notice anything since my shocks were blown anyway) so i had to actually raise it up a bit.....

I just installed some Sprint Coilovers on my CRX and the front is low and the back is almost stock height. Still waiting for it to settle

i have never come across an coilovers before that had to settle, I have installed ground control, apc, aerospeed, skunk and others and none of them had to settle but I guess there is a first for everything. Does anyone else have maxspeed coilovers and have the same problem
