Default Voltage drop after walbro 400 install?

After I install my Walbro 400 my voltage drop while driving from 13.8-13.9 to 12.9-13.0. I am wondering if this is normal for the guys that has ran this pump before? Is it going to affect my power or anything? Car runs good and sounds good but my tune date is coming up in a week so I just want to get it ready. Thanks

Sounds like the voltage regulator in the alternator isnt working correctly. i cant say for sure because im not running he walbro 400 but I do know the voltage output of the alternator should be 14.3-14.7 Is this just at idle your experiencing sucha drop or even while crusing ?

sounds like a bad alternator or the alt control in the ecu isnt working correctly. In my personaly car i would only get 13.2-13.6 voltage and i tried three different alternators, swapped out ecu and voltage went up to 14.7.

Hrmmmm that is really weird. I'm going to try swapping in a new alternator to see if it solves the problem.

if ALT doesnt fix it then swap out to a known good ecu if you have available. i had several laying around and just setup a new one to run with my hondata and found that fixed it
