Good ole fashioned T3/T04 60 trim - capable of 440whp no matter what fuel you throw at it before it starts just creating heat (yes, people push it further, but I'm looking at this from a general perspective.. Exact same configuration as a SC4431 or Garrett 60 "trim" or similar characteristic.
Good for B-series VTEC, too big for B-series non-vtec for any responsiveness.
return flange doesn't mean anything. It is more than likely journal bearing.
What's it worth? who knows.
Thanks for the description. it was thorough, no go try and use it..

Thanks Shodan I knew you'd be the one to help. Don't care what its worth I got a really good deal on it and have had it for awhile but now just took it apart and recieved my digital caliper and mics in the mail. Sounds like it will be around perfect for my goal 350-500hp but without room to grow after
So are these pretty nice turbos? As in how they spool, make power, etc. compared to other turbos?
Yes ill be using it soon. Thought I blew it when I first had it on my motor because it was pushing oil out the hotside, but it ended up being my ringlands.
Here's the setup ill be using it on. Lmk if its an alright turbo for my goals and setup.

81.5 supertech 9.9:1 pistons
Eagle rods
Peakboost ramhorn
3" downpipe
Buddy club spec 2
Delphi 525cc injectors
Walbro 255

Hondata s300v2 (w/ boost components)
As I said my goal is 350-500hp more then likely on the lower side since this WILL be a dd

i think those injectors might stop you well before 400hp, might need 750cc ot just go with the ID1000 because I am sure you will want more power later on.

why pushing them and risk detonation for something that could be upgraded for less than $900.00 rather than risking it and wasting double that ammount in your build. go with a safe tune and then when you can afford the upgrade, up the turbo.
Or shoot the TheShodan a pm and see if he could offer you some kind of upgrade on the unit you have. I'm sure he'll have something up his sleeve
