Default d16y7 mini me swap

Hello. I have a 98 honda civic DX coupe. The car is automatic. The car has a jdm ZC bottom end as well was a short ram intake. I wanted to know it there was a way to do a mini me swap on a automatic dx. I hear with the ex intake manifold its a 21hp bolt on. Would i also have to make it vtec? or can i just bolt the ex intake manifold on and keep the stock ecu?

1.yes, check the FAQ for a write up, you'll need an auto P2P ecu and reuse your DX throttle body or use an auto intake manifold and throttle body

2.you don't have to make it VTEC but there's no point doing it unless you do

3.you can bolt on a y8 manifold but it's not worth the work
