Installed SMC/injectors, can't run, HELP!!!
Just installed the DSM 450cc's and the SMC. It WONT idle. I leaned it out to ~-35%, then ~-40%, then back down to ~-30%; and it WONT run. I can constantly feather the gas and keep it alive, but I can't get it to idle or stay alive long. I'm also throwing CEL code 15 (Ignition Output Signal)...
Can anyone help!!??

Are you sure that everything is installed correctly? No leaks? Did you wire up the resistor pack correctly? Code 16 is the fuel injectors CEL (usually caused by bad wiring or an impedance mismatch). Maybe you're seeing that?

No resistor packs. I found the problem (Hooked the rpm up to the dizzy wire, which my tach is also on. Didn't sodder, and it caused a drop in the resistance causing the SMC not to know WTF is going on and adding too much fuel, then leaning out, then adding more...etc.

I thought resistors on dsm's were a must.
