Default running issues

just put a gsr motor in a teg and number two cylinder gets spark but the motor runs a little choppy and pulled number 2 spark plug wire off and didnt affect the motor could a injector be plugged up or does anyone have any other ideaS?

switched injectors didnt help

define "a little choppy"

while driving? idle? part throttle? WOT?

also age and info of plugs wires and dizzy

what does #2 plug look like

Double check your wire at the distributor..

You can fry your distributor by pulling the plug wires while its running. You said number 2 is firing, what about 1, 3, and 4?

third and fourth only first was firing then got second firing then drove it and went back to only 3 and 4 firing and sounded like a valve hit and it idled wrong part throttle same wot same but its a high compression b18c1 block wiht a stock rebuilt b16 pr3 head

your observations are a bit confusing.
so you did a power balance and found cylinders 2 and 1 to be dead? am i reading that right? so you have spark to cyl 1 and 2? but no change when wires are removed?

check your compression as per procedure

compression is good it was about 215 across the board and first and second cylinder dont fire does not affect at all when you pull off the wire but it fired up and ran correct for about 10 mins then 1st and 2nd cylinder lost spark again

What do 1st and 2nd plugs look like?
Has this motor been tuned?
Sounds like u may have a couple fouled plugs.

When I did my gsr swap the book I was using gave me the wrong firing order so I fired it up and it was only running on #1 cylinder. Sounded like hell
3,4 is the firing order of the distributor
1,2

thats the orderim using is 3 4 1 2 and plugs arent the greatest about to do a plug chop and no just have a base tune on a p28

it doesn't matter which way the firing order is. that's not going to cause no spark

Probably running a bit rich and fouled some plugs. Go get urself some Ngk bkr5e's and let us know what happens
