Default SIGNS OF BAD FUEL FILTER???

My 1st and 2nd gears seem to be getting a little sluggish, not all the time, just from time to time. Also seems to be getting increasingly more often. Wondering if this may be a sign of clogged fuel filter or what other sources I can check.

Thanks!

When was the last time you`ve done a tune-up on the car?

Ive seen fuel filters so bad you couldn't blow air thru them and no symptoms from the car. Personally Id look somewhere else, however, if you haven't changed it in the last 30-40k miles, Id change it regardless. They run about 18 bucks aftermarket from a parts store.

Think I will try both... havent had the car a really long time and I am sure a tune up and new fuel filter couldnt hurt.

Thanks Guys!

if youre going to do atune up, do a full one...

spark plug wires, spark plugs(ngk g-powers), cap and rotor, fuel filter, air filter, pcv valve. if youre **** like me, consider changing your coil. and use honda oem parts...aftermarket ignition parts are hit or miss..

Sounds like a bad cap and rotor, but I would do a full tune up. I highly doubt a fuel filter would cause this, but it would be great to change it.
