93 Del sol SI rear brake noise after brakes replaced
Ok so I replaced my brakes all around, being an idoit i tried to forcibly put the rear driver side brake pads over the rotor, I tried c-clamping the calipar closed to make enough room before I realized to push the cross in. But before I push the cross in I took it for a drive with the calipar basically closed with the pads locked on the rotor. One of the pads ended up breaking so i just threw the old one on.
After everything was installed a few weeks later I started hearing a noise from the same side where I C-clamped the calipar, I figured it was from the old pad so I replaced both pads with new ones.
About a month later I started hearing the same noise. It sounds like the sound when you need new pads but with a rubbing sound too. The slower I go the slower the sound is.
Is it possible I warped the rotor or messed up the calipar?
Also another bit of information, when I replaced the pads the second time I spun my rotor around and it made the same sound it makes now. The faster I spun it the faster it made it and started slowing as the rotor slowed down. It would spin about 3/4 of the way for a full rotation fine and spin the last 1/4 and make a sound.

Yes, you may have warped the rotor. Put a straight edge on the rotor to check. You may want to get it turned or buy a new one... never force anything, especially the mechanism that allows your 2000+ lb car to stop...
