problem with remote door locks after i insalled my radio

Default problem with remote door locks after i insalled my radio

i know that when u install a new radio it messes up the dome light and the remote door locks and i didnt do the reverse wirng harness thing to leave the old radio in........what i wanna know is can i insall a new alarm sstem that will work fine even though the old radio isnt in????

Yes, the locks will work fine with the new alarm. Just make sure you hook up the domelight bypass so the alarm sees the domelight turn on.

the problem is that the factory keyless entry in the civ's is controlled through the factory stereo, an aftermarket stereo and after market alarm will work fine with each other.

yeah the door locks will work fine w/ a new alarm system.. on the factory unit the keyless entry module is in the radio.... w/ the domelight I connected 2 wires from the green plug and it worked again...
