I have a 97 Honda Civic LX and i purchased it with the aftermarket alarm/remote start and aftermarket radio already installed. The alarm and the remote start works with the remote but the power locks do not. Also the locks don't lock/unlock with the switch on the door. Can anyone please help me figure this out its so ANNOYING!

I also understand they made the 97 hondas lock/unlock work with the factory radio and factory remote but i checked and the factory radio is nowhere to be found nor do i have the factory remote. But shouldn't the aftermarket keyless remote open my locks? Or do u think its my door lock acutator since the switch on the door does not open my locks either?

if anyone knows anything and can help i would really appreciate it, Thank you!!

This really isn't a Honda issue. Find out the manufacturer of the alarm and contact them or take it to a shop. No one knows how this system was installed really. At the very least people are going to ask you to start posting pictures.

I had the dame problem on my integra I took off the door panels and the wired weren't hooked up to the door. Check to see if there hooked up. If they are also check power door fuses. Lmk what happens.
