Why are you trying to jump the connector? Some back story please? Do you have another ECU to check?

 

I am changing the setting on my ecu and just got a check engine light vtec stoped working so i need to find what code its throwing but cant because the jumper wire isnt working is there a fuse or something that i should check please help

 

Changing the setting on your ECU? What does that mean? That doesn't tell me anything. No there is no fuse. Possibly whatever it is you are doing is causing, or has caused your issue. Put the stock ECU back in the car.

 

Ive never had a stock ecu and if i did wouldnt be able to run it my motor is built and wont run with the stock ecu reason why i have this one

Do you not know how to read a whole thread and answer ALL the questions?

I asked you What you meant when you said you were "changing the settings on the ECU?".

Also the rules of the forum state you need to list ALL pertinent info on your car. So if it is built for some reason you need to list all that as well. Otherwise we're troubleshooting in the dark.

If it worked before and not now you might have done something to cause it. What that might be only YOU know since you want to give only bits and pieces of info at a time.

 

No i do not thanks for breaking my ***** at 10.14 in the morning whatever my motor has has nothing to do why my check engine light isnt flashing

 

You want us to tell you why something isn't working but don't want to furnish any info or answer any question that you deem irrelevant. Good luck to you. Maybe someone has better insight than me.

 

I did move my battery to the trunk and fusebox to the passenger kick panel
