Started to hear it knock after driving about 100 miles breaking it in after the motor swap . I had a bad d16y8 then bought a rebuilt d16 swap and this happend ..

all i have to say is.. that sucks. spun a bearing.

 

sounds like BAD valve lash, id check/adjust your valves, and hope its not a rod

 

Check valve clearences...If it`s still there than it`s more likely a rod

 

might sound silly but check for exhaust leak at the header
Ive had this on a new build once and sounded like a rod gone
the leak can have a high pitched sound with a thud as well

 

I appreciate the quick responses and help , i thought it was the header banging the cat @ first but nope not it . I honestly dont know . Just tired of tryna make this car work i really dont wanna swap the motor agaain . i will do some research on the valve timing and alll.

this isn't really something we can diagnose for you with that 1 video... take it to someone.

 

And have you drove it like that? How does it drive?

 

I'd say: Valve! Might be bent
