Track Video(s) Too Good Not to Share...
Please add your own Honda based vids, but please be in it and make it good!!
In this case, maybe its the passenger/driver enthusiasm (holy siht dude!), maybe it the shriek of the b16 vtec in battle mode when the s2000 draws near, whatever, this is one of the most fun videos I've seen and its heavy on Honda's.
Filmed at spectacular Thunderhill Raceway in Northern California. Sunny, mid 70's, great day, great cars and good driving.
I am driving the white EK Coupe, HC2 prep+ seen in through windshield.
Track: Thunderhill
Event: Blacktrax Test/Tune and Jam day March 4

Rear cam, my car, same track, event, different session...little shaky but insane to see,
Sorry that the camera dies seconds before the Civic Hatch and the M3 fly off track behind me. Session got black flagged because of total off three off track cars.
Is that a bad *** s2k or what?

Cools videos and great drive! I see one of the Downey's were there!
Your car is already H2 prepped, why not RACE in H2? I can tell you'll be one of the front runners in nor cal if you did. Maybe race H2 in April at T hill?

I agree Jonathan, David has become quite the driver!

Thanks for the compliments. That session was completely off-the-freaking-hook fun. Here is another angle. Shot from my buddies well prepared TTC E36 M3 BMW. Directly behind the S2K from above video.
His spin at 5:30 in was exceptional. It stretched from turn 14 through and off of 15. I saw it coming and got the hell out of the way. His camera died then too.
No sound, broken mic. We were all having issues late afternoon.
fwiw, Today I found my brakes were down to rivets, my RA1's at cord. Both were toast. Got my $ out of those, maybe more. The s2k pilots in the advanced group were exceptionally good drivers and I hope I can mix it up with them at the next Blacktrax event.

The old question still holds true here.
What's the shortest distance between two points?
We all cut through over there and hit those rumblies..
Except when they put tires up every now and then.
It's a great place to catch someone napping ,and not on the throttle.
well i know that would be the shorter distance. i just figured racing you can hug corners tight but you cant cut them like that... in actual races is cutting that corner allowed?
You are right about David JM...he's has become a hell of a driver over the past few years and is more than ready to race! He would give people fits! In a good way of course! GReat Driving David.
Usually in drivers meetings they will tell us whats off limits.
BUT, don't do it in a de, unless the flagger is asleep or can't see that area. normally in a de group, they will allow 1 wheel, but 2+ means black flag.

Here's my video from that Blacktrax final advanced session on 3/4. Really fun session. I included the whole video - there was a red flag that was accidentally left out and taken down which caused the cars to almost stop on the front straight at 2'25" into the video which put me in front of David. Then had a car spun in turn 3 at 5'05". David, the white M3, and Liam passed me at 7'30" into the video, and I dropped in behind to see if I could keep up with those guys. I think that was Liam who went straight off after turn 5 at 9'35", and then the white M3 off right after that in turn 6. I decided to end my session after that, as a S2000 was parked on the left just after turn 15. I've never been in a session with so many cars going off track, plus the accidental red flag, but it was definitely fun. - Jim

Heres one from the UK, just a trackday, our car (Area Motorsport) trying to stay with a JRSC type R with pretty much every mod you can do chassis/engine wise.
300bhp Red vs 210bhp Blue.
We'd just fitted 17x9's on the front of the blue aswell as some AP's and the first time we drove it was at the track so a little tentative in places.
Sorry for the cam sound, need ext Mic for the GoPro desperately!

So much power, so few straights. I pity that Porsche engine, it wants so badly to launch that car into low earth orbit!!

nice
I've got some laps of my Civic at the local track, but I was fighting a slipping clutch all day so I never bothered to upload the video. Looking to get in some track time this April.
