got a 98 civic lx and my door locks stopped working. i changed the switch but nothing happens. someone said there was a relay box or something in the door that could b the culprit. idk. my power windows still work tho.
any thoughts?

 

Is 20A hood fuse 51 blown?

How did you test it? Does it get voltage from the battery? Click the fuses link in my signature.

 

took the fuse out and it wasnt blown but will take a test light to it and see if its getting power...

 

if the fuse is good there is a white box inside the door that controls the locking
ive blow 2 over the years

 

^ someone told me about that. after i check the fuse, if its still good, then thats my nxt step. taking off the door panel and checking that out. wish me luck. **** gets annoying after a while so want to take care of it

 

just pull door panel off and take a sniff at the box you should be able to smell the burn
