Ok so i have bought two throttle cables one is a oem itr one (b16 swap 00 ex) with after market intake soo.. the problem is the itr one wouldnt fit in the firewall flush all it does it giggle around and half *** sit in the firewall spot. Sooo i went and bought the one for my car a 2000 ex one and that one doesnt fit it giggles around too. Is there some sort of washer or grommet that meets between the firewall and the throttle cable push in thing. Please dont tell me to get a SI one its not the length thats the issue.

 

Make sure to rotate the plastic "tab" left or right to snap into place. I've never had issues with mine.

there is a cable seal #12 does yours have that?

There is a seal, but it isn't needed to keep the thottle cable in place. I'm missing the one my civic and the cable stays in fine (just replaced the cable a couple of weeks ago actually)

 

Well then what in the hell is the problem lol. I guess ill just buy the seal and hope it works.
