Default Throttle cable snapping problem

Hey guys ive bene having a problem with throttle cables snapping in my car the past few months, its ever sicne i put my oem intake manifold back on my gsr in my 99 si. I dont know ifive bene getting the wrong throttle cable but it just has not been working correctly and the throttle cable has been snapping leaving me without a car for weeks because nobody has throttle cables. WHta i guess i am asking is is the gsr throttle cable differetn from a b16 or a type r?also i will tyr and get some pics whe ni get the car home cause, right now its left in a parking lot

If the cable is to tight its a matter of time before it snaps. Give the next one a little slack. What car is this?

see thats the problem (its in a 99 si) the cable was very loose it had just enough slack, if it had anymore it would have just kept falling off. BUt Just for anyone who is reading this, the cable dont just snap it took about a month and half to snap before i put it on, after i get my car back homne i will show you how it is setup because it looks like a dumb way to be set up but maybe you guys could provide me with pics of how your throttle cable is mounted onto your stock gsr intake manifold
