ITR throttle cable problem with a 2000 ex
So i bought a ITR throttle cable and bracket for my 2000 ex. I just got it running (b16/aebs IM) and went to install the cable but it doesn't want to sit in the firewall right, i have installed a few cables here and there but never ran into this issue. When you push it in and turn it goes in half *** and wont stay. Is there something im missing seems pretty straight forward to me lol
and no i dont have the stock throttle cable or i would of made that one work

Hmm,it should fit alright. Did you rotate the the plastic mounting point against the firewall so that it would clip into place?

Re: ITR throttle cable problem with a 2000 ex
I got the same problem on my GSR. I needed to use the ITR cable for my billet throttle body. The tabs fit, but it's a little loose and not 100 percent tight like the GSR cable use to be. I've been driving my car for a few months now and really haven't had any problems with it coming out or anything major. I just think the spacing is bigger on the ITR's, so thats why it has some play.
