Default 98 Civic Ex Radio Installation Question

I am installing a kenwood deck in my car but I realized that there are 3 different harness plugs one white and one small green and one big green all connected to the factory honda radio deck. My question is which one of these harnesses do i need to cut and wire my kenwood harness. Thanks

None of them. Get an adapter harness, and don't hack up your OEM wiring.

Bullshit there's no such thing. Crutchfield hands them out for free when you buy a new unit from them. Whoever you talked to at Fry's is a moron.

You don't need to cut anything. you plug the harness adapter you claim to have into the OEM harness, and then splice the wires on the adapter onto the wires on the back of the new head unit.

oh i thought there would be a harness adapter that goes from OEM harness straight to my deck without the need of splicing any wires... Do you know which one of those three harness belong to the radio though... I read somewhere that one was for keyless entry which i dont have the key for anymore so i don't need.

The three harnesses use different pigtails, so I would assume you can just try to plug the harness into each pigtail and see which one fits.
