98 honda civic ex with a b20b and gsr tranny........i need help guys everything was fine this morning but on my way back home today, my car kept getting stuck and making a loud vwoom noise wen it gets stuck at 3500 rpms(I cant make the exact noise lol) in every gear at 3500 RPM it gets stuck and just doesnt go any higher PLUS also the needle that indicates my speed its stuck at zero!! Can anyone please tell me what it might be? Thank You!

 

 

Check engine light on? What code are you getting? Sounds like "limp home mode"...

 

how can i check to see what code it is....and i don't know if my check engine light is on because i just bought the car like 2 months ago and when i would turn on my headlights the cluster lights would be off so i might need new bulbs

found out it was my ecu so i got me another one it works fine no more limp mode rpm getting stick all i need to do now is program my ecu to match my b20b specs
