Hi i have a 99 civic si b16a2. I Recently got a lag going. When i take off, it startes with the lag. the rpm starts going crazy and starts just going in and out of power(Laggy). idk if its because of the fuel line or gas is dirty. i took it for a ride while it was cold. and nothing. once it started warming up its started with the lag. rpm is fine when its warm and sitting but when u rev it it starts with the lag again. PLEASE HELP!!!!

i was planning on putting a fuel inj cleaner and Plus gas & try that.
mine does the same thing. my problem is a sticky idle air control valve. runs fine and when it starts to run like **** the cel comes on. try this when it starts to act up shut the engine off and then restart it, this stops my issues for awhile. there are some write ups on here on how to clean the iacv (idle air control valve) I've just been busy and haven't got around to doing mine

Remember the octane of gas does not mean it's a better quality gas but that it is more resistant to combustion.
