Hello everyone

So my headaches started when I picked up thIs 00hatch I noticed it did not have a second O2 sensor nd no evap stuff
Hooked up the evap although not sure what to do with vaccum on the left side of the intake it's for cruise contol I think n e way I wired up the second o2 sensor bit I still feel like my ls made more power I have not checked my cels to c if any codes have been erased

It's a B16. Your LS probably did make more power.

Otherwise I don't see where you reported a real tech issue to troubleshoot.

 

Yea and it was a Ef so it was lighter another thing tho my hatch should be obd2b right since it's a 00 I'm not sure if it's a dx or what? I saw sum where the cx were obd2a all the to 00
And the cel comes back on immediately after I turn on the car ?

 

Pull the CEL code.

 

(Cel) turns out I dont have the wires to hookup my second o2 sensor


So I hardwired the wires for my secondary o2 sensor the car barely comes on , if u step on the throttle it stalls out i put everything back nd the car runs fine im plannin on runin the ex cabin harness n e body have n e writeups for this
Do u think I screwed up somehow on the wiring has n e1 hardwired to the ecu vs swappin the cabin harness

secondary o2 has nothing to do with the way the car runs.

did you plug the open nipple on the intake manifold that went to the cruise control?

 

Yea I plugged the one for the cruise control
But when I wire d up the second o2 it runs like crap it seems like it has to warm up nd then it'll run ok a small stutter when u accelerate
Inread some where about a iacv wire unhad to swap around do u kno
Bcuz if i run the dash harness I'm afraid it's gonna do the same I kno i wired it right

 

So my car had some cels
Turns out it needed the o2 sensor to be wired uP bcuz of the swap it has a si harness but it's a dx hatch so indecided to run the wires vs swapping the dash harness
I've wired the sensor in twice bcuz when I start the car it stalls out basically , so I thought I messed up but if u let the car idle or warm up (even tho it's fighting tO stayon )it'll run fine once it heats uP
Its gotta be related bcuz the car runs jus fine with out the wires dePinned nd moved

 

Did you depin or tap the wires that were there? If you depinned that isn't good because some of those wires are shared grounds and power.

Po118 eng coolant
Po123 pedal position sensor tps high


So Im not supposed to depin them jus splice into them
