Icon3 Del sol swap help!!!

Ok so I know im new to HondaTech and there are probably a ton of how tos and DIY but I searched and couldn't find the answer I need. anyway I just recently bought a SIR 89 B16 swap and I have the Del sol S 94 I have all of the OBD1 (Starter,Alternator,Chipped P28, etc) things I need but that is not the problem my problem is shift linkage. I know I need the VTEC del sol model but I called up majestic honda and I was wondering what I need, I know I need the linkage but they sell "each part separately." SOOOOOO I was wondering can I get away with just buying the ROD, Change #13 and using my DEL SOL S extension, bushings and everything else? if not what do I need.... also how can I wire the vtec using that wire harness.......Thanks in advance and Im sorry if this was somewhere else, I just could not find it.

Don't bother with that OBD-0 swap. I would sell it and get a OBD1/2. You'll thank me later.

You have all the OBD1 B16A items (starter, alternator, distributor)? Or just your D series

If its an OBD0 motor than the only real differences are:

-fan switch is on the back of the block, you'll have to rewire from where yours is to there
-VTEC solenoid connector will have to be swapped or make a harness that works with it
-probably be best to get an aftermarket header as the OBD0 one has the 02's in a place where the 4 wire won't read correctly
