Default car gains tha same in 5th then if i down shift to 4th?

si i have a GSR chipped ECU [skunk2 intake] with a ITR LSD trans.

I've been noticing that when I'm in 5th gear [4800RPM 80MPH] the car gains really good [to 90MPH ] at like 40% throttle.

but if i where to down shift to WOT fourth [5800RPM 80MPG] it gains just the same [to 90MPH] as if i were in 5th at 40% throttle...? why is this?

I tracked it today from 80MPH to 90MPH 5ht and 4th

Are you asking why your 80-90 MPH times are the same whether you're in 4th or 5th gear?

yes. I am wondering why 80-90 gain is the same in 4th at high RPM as it is in 5th gear at a lower RPM.

I suspect your engine output from 4800 to 5400 RPM is similar to your output from 5800 to 6500 RPM.

Throw they skunk2 Mani away it makes your torque suck big d. I had the same problem. Plus u should be at 60 and down shift to 3rd to get a jump.4th and 5th aren't "racing gears"
