Wondering what is wrong with my car. I have a 5th gen I can shift into 5th below or at 50 mph but if I shift in the upper 50's and past that it grinds a little going into the gear. It only grinds for about 1/2 second then it goes in. Any help would be aprreciated.

 

That would be the common 5th gear grind. Try shifting into 5th a little slower. Let the revs drop a little before you shift.

 

thanks yeah Im pretty quick to shift into gears but this has never happened before. I try it out though.
