solid mount help?

Icon2 solid mount help?

OK... i was wondering; i was looking on the inovative mounts website and i was wondering what kind of solid should i get.... i have a 92 civic with a b18b1 with itr lsd trans motor is stock just i/h/e/ecu

it says i can get 95A for 10$ more then 60A should i do it or would it be too much?

Too much for what? How much vibration can you tolerate. There's no way to answer this question. I would get solid rubber over poly any day.

More is not always better. Why do you want solid mounts? The reason why you want them might help you make up your mind one way or the other. 60A is fairly soft, but you'll still feel a lot more vibrations than stock. I had cusco mounts on my S13 SR20DET...IIRC, those were like 85A. Most annoying for a street car.

thing is my engine mounts r dead the stock ones for ls and i kinda want it to look nice cuz i have full wire tuck.... only reason i want solids is because i have wheel hop and i was thinking that would help

I agree... I put solid poly mounts on my b16 eg sedan... horrible idea!!! Everything started rattling after just a week... I agree with grumble... if you plan to drive this car as a d/d stick with rubber!!!

ok i c well i drive it on road somtimes i mostly drive my 07 corolla its basicly for show and racing road racing

The poly mounts rattle like a mother F'r. Stick with stock mounts, with stock mounts you'll be different anyway because everybody is on the aftermarket mount titty. The poly mounts rattle so god damn much that im switching back. The rattle and aggravation is not worth a shiney piece in my engine bay IMO.
