Default d16y7/y8 crank sensor

will a y7 crank sensor work with a y8 mini me swap .. y7 bottom end y8 head y8 sensors and y8 harness .. p28 chipped ecu disabled o2 sensors ?? i believe i read that this will work

P28 doesn't use crank sensor (if you're referring to the one on the crank, the CKF)

ok then i guess that answers my question .. so no need for it to even be hooked up then huh?
