I recently did a GSR swap to my buddys vx hatch. Everything is plugged up and including o2 sensor but it is still throwing the CEL code for o2 sensor. I think the car might be in limp mode for some reason but im not 100% sure. Do you think it could maybe TPS sensor? Can Someone please help me and how do I get it out of limp mode????

 

If you reset the ECU, do any CEL codes return?

 

Yeah they do but the light just keeps flashing when im trying to read the codes its been nothing but a headache

 

The codes repeat over and over again. Click the CEL sticky. If you can't figure out how to read the blinking CEL, then post a video.

 

If the o2 sensor is plugged up the CEL just flashes and it wont throw a code but when the o2 unplugged it throws code 41 which is o2 sensor...

 

If the CEL flashes, it IS throwing a code.

 

Yes I knw that but its not throwing a code like it should be...Its only flashing constantly no pausing or anything so how would you read a code if it doesnt throw a code like it should?

usually a dizzy problem on pre 92 or crank sensor in the 96-00

 

it might sound dumb or silly. but try switching your MAP and TPS plugs, as in unplug them and switch them. if it does not work make sure that they are making full contact. check your pins and what not on the plugs. LUK if this helps.

 

So Ive changed the TPS sensor and have a chipped p28 with gsr base map tune, its not throwing any CEL at all im stumped and dont knw where to turn now...Someone please help..Im redoing the timing tomorrow to see if thats the problem

the blinking means something to ron that he knows.. lol

just take your iphone out and record 50 secs and upload it to youtube.
