Hey Everyone. Need some help ASAP because I'm not exactly sure what to do next. If this isn't the place to post this thread just say so. Not sure. Here's the layout of my car.
1994 Honda Del Sol S
D15B7 Engine
213k Miles (Rebuilt at 168k)
Slight Head Gasket Leak
Oem Honda Cat (2Years Old)
O2 Sensor (1 Year Old)
Replaced Air Filter (d16z6 air intake "Toyoroki"), Spark Plugs (NGK Properly Gapped), Oil, Oil Filter, Distributor Cap & Rotor, & Thermostat (180 Degrees; Stock was 174)
Ran GTP "Guaranteed to Pass" Through it the past week.
Always run 91 Octane.
Timing is fine.
Spark Plugs show an indication of running too hot.
Radiator is a year old. Always maintained.
Hoses are all fine. No Cracks.
No vaccume leaks that I could see or tested.

My HC & CO were all very low. Below average even. My NoX emissions were 1047 at 15 mph and 0972 at 25 mph.
Idk what the cause could be too do with this. Any advice or help would be appreciated. Thanks!

 

try seafoam in the vaccum line to clean out all the carbon build up and put some in the gas tank to clean the fuel system and injectors

 

i have a 94 del sol and had the same issue i ran seafoam in the vacuum lines and in the gas tank and i passed just find but after you do it go out and drive the car hard so you can burn all the bs out

 

GTP cleaned out the injectors and what not. Be simply overkill to put in seafoam. Although putting seafoam in the vaccum line might be of some use, though I have never done so. You suggest pcv line or???
Also found my radiator is leaking. Put some stop leak in for the time being. Ran across that I put a 190 degree thermostat in instead of a 180 which is stock. Probably the cause of the engine running too hot. Put a 170 in for the time being and flushed my system.
Drove around for half an hour on the freeway and then got it smogged again just today. Numbers got worst. 1157 at 15 mph and 1109 at 25 mph.

Only thing I did before the second smog was change the thermostat from a 190 to a 170 degree and flushed the radiator system finding a leak in the radiator itself. Put some radiator seal inside to help. Bled the system and then drove around for an hour doin 65 on the freeway and then smogged it.

 

Bump. Anyone have any ideas. I am in need of some help and don't have much of an idea of what to do at this time.

 

Think I found a possible vaccume leak. Might be the culprit? Soon to find out but still a another few days till I resmog.
