Default d15b vtec rpms

I have a d15b vtec in my 92 civic cx, what rpms do i hit vtec on?

On 7200 rpms dear. Is it the D15b vtec black top one only one solenoid vtec or with two solenoid vtec

Assuming it's stock, if you have the P08 ECU, your VTEC switch is at 4800RPM. If you have the P2J ECU, your first switch is at 3000, and your second switch is at 6000.

Seriously though, at least make an effort to find information on your own before you ask. "D15B" in Google leads directly to the wikipedia article that gives this information.

Yea i know google will lead me to it but i have a p28 ecu. Is it the wrong ecu for the engine?

It's not the OEM pairing, but it should work just fine. Assuming it hasn't been modified, your VTEC cross is at ~5000. Once again, information I found on that same Wiki article.

Nope i can't hear the cross over. thats why i've been wondering what rpms it hits vtec.

If your car is obnoxiously loud, its likely you won't hear the crossover. Exhaust side doesn't take change in tone for a sohc. Intake side would be where its heard if you're really looking for it.
