Eg's with b18 swaps ? any one using hasport billet mounts ?
I need new mounts really bad, I just wanted to see if anyone is using the new billet stock replacements from hasport.com I wanted to use the hasport timing belt, rear, and the tranny mounts. I also wanted to use poly on the rest. What do you think, should I just get the poly mount inserts ?
polyurethane mounts will make you hate life. for a track car/drag car, they're great for getting power to the ground but they vibrate your car to ****. my friend who's b18 swap we just completed, is getting rid of his poly mounts because his car vibrates sooooooooo much. get the billet ones with stock inserts and you'll be happier
I don't really care what my car does at idle. I want to put power down, and get rid of my blown stock b18c1 mounts. I have had the billet hasport kit in my 91 si with a b16. I did not mind the idle vibration, I kinda liked it j/k
yeah, woody, this guy is right. i should give you a ride so you can see how much my chit rattles. i have ES motor mount inserts, and a prothane upper driverside mount.
i'm sure the hasport mounts will be the same or worse.
if you can afford it, get the hasport mounts. otherwise, the ES inserts should work fine.
