Default b18b1 all motor help!

Im used to my eagle talon so when i bough this acura integra it felt so incredably slow.

Mods ive done so far in just engine. i have suspension ect but im talkin only motor right now.

Greddy headers, full mugen exhaust, auia under fender cold air, everything has been ported and bored. it still feels so slow. shopping carts are passing me on the freeway. what is there that i can do to help me out with just some more gains, im not looking for massive gains, i only want around 200whp maybe little more, but i wana keep my engine since i did a complete rebuild and a swap would have to do again. any advice would be helpful thank you

Lol how do you think I feel, I had a built 20g/then gt35 setup, mild tune got me low 11's, and my integra has less mods than yours, so mine is on the complete other end of the spectrum for me haha

I vote boost it.

boost that thing if you really want it to pull like crazy. stock engine 10 psi/300hp setups are pretty common and easy to do with good tuning.

you can make great power all motor, but you will likely have to go vtec to make a good chunk over 200whp you are really running compression and starting to get on the limit of pump gas

honestly a different transmission would do you wonders. i am sure you still have the ls tranny bolted up to it which is looooooong gears. if you dont care about your rpms being high on the highway you could opt for a b16 tranny. you will notice a great difference in how the car pulls and you will still keep it a simple set up

ls/vtec has an awesome write up. its a long thread but read it little by little you will be lead in the right direction.

then yes you are probably needing to go turbo. if you feel like your car is THAT slow then it sounds to me like you are needing to go for a big power adder. it sounds like you will be less than impressed with the little power you would get from anything else. unless you wanna throw a ton of money at an all motor build. turbo is definitely the economic way of making power...

for all that work just for an ls vtec ide rather turbo or supercharge, i will lower my compression to around 150psi from 300ish psi and throw a low pressure turbo or a supercharger on it, it feels erally slow because its the heavy model. cruise controll abs power windows locks ac sunroof, its the premium and heaviest model so thats why its so slow.
