Hey guys

I have a eg civic hatch with a b18c2 swap done to it. The other day i was driving and it backfired and i automatcally lossed all of my engine power, its still driveable just incredibly sluggish and sounds like a Subaru WRX. I've tried testing it and the engine light turns on, goes brighter and stays on in its brighter state. Ive tried searching for what this means but i haven't found anything on it! If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.

Yes you said your cel is on

 

I checked them but none of the codes or 'flashes' represent what i have on my CEL..
The CEL doesnt flash, it just gets a bit brighter and stays on

 

Are you sure your doing it right? If you are your ecu might be bad

is there any way to see if my ECU is bad?

 

Swap with a different, but known working, compatible ECU.
