so i recently bought a 95 del sol si.

whenever i get on it in vtec, coolant sprays from the radiator cap and i wind up with a pool of coolant on the radiator and around the bay. i've replaced the cap twice now, flushed the coolant, fixed a few hoses that were bad. the problem won't go away.

previous owner suggested i replace the HG which i'm doing tomorrow. does anyone else have any ideas?

if the previous owner told you to change your headgasket...
change your headgasket. atleast your previous owner told you about it
before you bought it.
mine didn't when i had my last 93 del sol si and it was a headache.
i got the headgasket changed, waterpump, timing belt, spark plugs, spark plug wires, and exhaust/intake manifold gaskets changed and it ran like a champ for a year. a year later the radiator was leaking, vtec solenoid leaking, the distributor was failing, then the ecu. i felt like enough was enough and now i'm happy with my 97 del sol si.
but, i know for sure when you change out your headgasket you have to change your waterpump and timing belt in case.

what is your temp gauge doing is it normal or spiking ?? do you have any heat? is your bottom hose getting warm or is it cold??
