Key won't turn on the outside of the drivers door. It locks from the inside and the passenger door locks and unlocks fine. Is there something I can spray in the key hole? Or other suggestions?

Alright. Is there a particular part that typically goes bad?

 

Did a little fooling around with a spare lock from a donor door I have. The rubber on mine was chewed up causing the lock to get stuck in both directions on it, I used a sharp knife and pliers to cut away the excess chewed up material leaving the bare metal hook showing. A little dry lock lube in the upper part of the hook to lubricate it's inner parts of the lock a few times and then both outside and inside handle leavers starting opening the hook with ease. I sure hope this helps some people out I know I got a little frustrated putting another faulty one on my car before looking into that part a little more.
