94 LS Wont Go Into Gear! Help!
whatsup,
I have a 1994 Integra Ls 5 speed all stock daily driver and the throw out bearing recently went out. I replaced the throw out bearing , Reassembled and it still would not go into gear, so next i did the slave cylander, new fluid and what not, hopped in and the car and it was going into gear fine up on the jack stands, thought the prob was solved. soon as i lowered it down for a test drive it would no longer go into gear, goes into gear fine with the car not running. I need the car fixed because its my dd, any input is greatly appreciated. thanks!

Do you have resistance on the clutch when you press it in? Have to tried putting it in first and starting it with the clutch in to see if clutch is disengaging. And when you had the tranny off did you check the condition of the pressure plate?
clutch pedal is good and stiff
the tob broke teeth on the pressure plate so i put in a act one i had laying around
wen the car is on flat ground, clutch pushed in, wen i push it into gear it starts to creep forward but its not in gear..

For some reason the pressure plate isnt pulling the clutch disk off the flywheel. You said when its shut off you can put it into gear right. Try putting it in first, push in the clutch and start it up. Be very very careful though, cause if the clutch is engaged it will try and jump forward.
Put the car in first gear, step on clutch, start engine, do not take your foot off the clutch, what happens, if nothing, take your foot off the clutch, what happens?
Do the above and let me know what happens. 94

Yeah, the pressure plate is probably gone or not the right one, hard to say. If it were me i would just put in a whole new clutch. But 100 percent with out a doubt your clutch is not disengaging for some reason. Make sure that the tob is still positioned as it should be when you have the tranny off. If the clutch disk is still good, you might be able to get away with just putting on a new pressure plate. Good luck.
hey just dropped the tranny off again. The pilot bearing was completly shot soon as i touched it it fell apart ball bearing fell out and the bearing races were in multiple pieces think it was just that?
