changed my b18 head gasket with oem and threw on a new rebuilt port and polished head and now no boost? it builds boost and blows off but it actually feels like held back and theres no leaks anywhere or vacum leaks...chipped ecu if that helps but my check engine light did come on but i converted from obd0 to obd1 how do i pull the code?

 

Did you check your compression?

 

Do you have a boost gauge? A manual boost contoller? How is the idle?

 

Check your codes

 

Codes won't show anything boost related if the engine itself is functioning properly.

How are you running your vacuum line to the wastegate?

 

The cel is on for a reason, the motor is not working properly.

 

Oh **** just realized he said the cel is on lol. I'm messin up left and right tonight. Southern Comfort!

 

check the codes that will tell you whats wrong with the motor this = what part of the turbo this could lead to.

also just because you dont have any loose hoses or leaks doesnt mean one hose could have got mixed up with another hose durring the process. make sure all hoses are pluged in to wear they were the first time
