loose 2-5% power vs blowing up your engine? i would use chicken wire or window mesh around under compressor housing with a clamp... SEARCH(google) IS YOUR FRIEND

ok putting on the filter will cause me to lose 2 - 5% of power...?? i cud live with that! yeah i was looking at d mesh wire ting...but i really work on directly on the beach and i have seen sand storms and all that **** so am not sure that as a filter will effectively do the job...u kno...i may b wrong tho so do let me kno....

as far as the fan being in the way, i know they have slim fans that will create more room and maybe you'd be able to fit a better filter on there then. do some research.

well i've been doing some research...but will that fan be efficient?? will it cover the whole surface area? don't have any over-heating problems don't wana create one...i was thinking of custom building a pipe then placing that filter to the extreme left infront the coolant reservoir.....and what filter would the best to use??

there's a guy on here who has a link for a website that sells slim fans in his signature and it seems to be reputable. i forget the site and person who has it in their signature though. but the slim fans seem to do a good job. before you buy a slim fan (or anything for that matter) check out some reviews.
